Volunteering for our Future

Yesterday was my introduction to the Disney Wilderness Preserve, a Nature Conservancy owned and managed natural slice of Central Florida. There are a number of ways volunteers can participate in this ongoing restoration project. I plan to volunteer to rebuild the butterfly garden, although other opportunities may present themselves before the garden design has been completed.  Most of those who work at the preserve are volunteers; I met several yesterday who have been involved for quite a while, along with a few newbies like me.
