LITTLE HERB GARDEN

So now that I have finally got some seeds in the ground, I am anxiously waiting for results!  The packages said anywhere from 7 to 20 days to sprout, depending on the herb, so imagine my surprise when this morning I had a full row up and growing and several other half rows (I split some up) pushing throught the dirt.  It looks like basil is the first to grow - I have 5-6 types, so can't wait to see how they do.

I didn't follow the instructions about spacing since I plan to eat a lot of this sowing before the plants grow to full size, and also because sometimes the seeds just don't produce as I expect, but you will see in the photos I'm attching this won't be a problem this time. This picture includes a small hydranga in the middle of the herb plot.  It hasn'd done anything yet, but now that I have decided to plant herbs there, what do you bet it decides to grow like gangbusters!
